The TTP-SBI Programmatic Approach 

The TTP-SBI PROGRAM moves beyond simply offering a 5-day SBI Foundations Course. The SBI Programmatic approach is one that pairs the Foundations Course with additional SBI experiences or sessions that are designed to review and reinforce the knowledge and skills introduced in the 5-day offering. 

 

The TTP-SBI Program's ultimate goal is to develop an organization's capability to develop its own people in SBI principles & skills. We do this through best practices in education, working to develop capabilities over time using a "distributed practice" approach.

 

Entitled Extension Sessions, these follow-on experiences can be designed in multiple formats based on the needs of the partnering agency.  Additionally, personnel may choose to move into the role of an SBI “Coach”.
