August travels: A Tale of Two Programs

After taking the month of July off, the TTP-SBI team visited the horse capital of the world—Lexington, Kentucky where they are just kicking off their SBI Program and East Baton Rouge, LA—a major, self-sustaining SBI entity.

The LEX PD were wonderful hosts and have already implemented the SBI planning and analysis process. Kentucky courses featured two home-grown KY coaches with support from the NJSP, Rochester PD, and Indianapolis PD.

Then it was off to Baton Rouge, LA. The East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office has some 12+ veteran coaches and a Captain who manages them and the course making it an easy visit and always a welcoming time.
